Sports Interaction is one of the few Ontario operators that prints its own licence number where you can check it: OPIG1242525, stated in the opening clause of terms dated 21 April 2026. It runs a dedicated Ontario help centre – separate from its global one – with a wider cashier than most, including American Express and direct Online Banking, and no fees on Interac in either direction. The catch is the payout. By the operator’s own published figures, a withdrawal takes up to two business days to approve and one to three more to arrive – five business days in the worst case, against one to four hours at bet365.
How We Checked Sports Interaction
Sports Interaction runs two separate help centres, and only one of them applies to you. This review uses the Ontario one.
This matters more than it sounds. The generic help centre lists a different set of payment methods, quotes different withdrawal times, and names a Gibraltar company as the operator. None of that describes the Ontario product.
Is Sports Interaction Legal in Ontario?
Yes, and unusually for this market, the operator states its own licence number in writing. Sports Interaction appears in the iGaming Ontario register under ElectraWorks Maple Limited, with on.sportsinteraction.com registered for both Casino and Sports Betting.
The opening clause of the Ontario terms puts it plainly: “ElectraWorks Maple Limited is licensed and regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario under license number OPIG1242525.” The same clause confirms that the company “operates as agent for iGaming Ontario pursuant to an agreement between the two parties” – the standard structure for this market, stated rather than implied.
The Company Behind the Licence
Read that clause carefully and the corporate structure is more interesting than the licence.
ElectraWorks Maple Limited is an English company, registered in England under company number 01605615, with its registered office at 7th Floor, One Stratford Place, Montfichet Road, London E20 1EJ. It is part of the Entain group.
That is a genuine difference from most of this market. Betano operates through Kaizen Gaming Canada Inc., registered in Toronto. Bet99 operates through an Ontario numbered company. Sports Interaction’s Ontario licence sits with a company registered in London.
There is one Canadian link, and it is confined to money. The terms name Entain Operations Canada Limited, of 1565 Carling Avenue, Suite 400, Ottawa, Ontario K1Z 8R1 – Canadian company number 699682-5 – as the entity that “provides payment services on behalf of ElectraWorks Maple Limited as license holder”. Your deposits and withdrawals are handled by an Ottawa company; your betting contract is with a London one.

Three names, one brand, all within the Entain group – and nothing in the product tells you which one you are dealing with at any given moment.
None of this affects your protection: the AGCO registration and the iGaming Ontario agreement are what give you recourse, and both are in place. But if you assumed you were dealing with a Canadian operator because the brand has been in this country for years, the paperwork says otherwise.
What the Ontario Product Offers
Sports Interaction’s Canadian App Store listing is the clearest public description of the betting product, and it advertises “150+ markets across 1000s of weekly games” alongside a feature set built around same-game betting: Same Game Parlays, Pre-Built SGPs and SGP+, exclusive fantasy markets, and “3,000+ casino games”.
The Ontario help centre confirms the same-game product is a documented part of the offer: Same Game Parlay Terms and Conditions is published as its own legal document alongside the general terms and the Sports betting Facilities Rules.
The headline feature the listing pushes is 2UP Early Payout: if the team you back goes two goals ahead, the bet is paid out as a winner regardless of how the match finishes.

2UP is the one worth having. It is the mirror image of Betano’s Golden Sub or bet365’s Sub On Play On – all three exist to stop a bet that is going well from being undone by the last twenty minutes.
The Casino, and Why No Studio Is Named
Sports Interaction runs the same Entain help-centre platform as BetMGM, but where BetMGM’s Ontario help centre carries roughly 950 game-rule pages that quote studio copyright lines, the Sports Interaction one reduces its entire casino section to a single General page. There is no rules library, no provider filter and no studio name anywhere in the published Ontario material, and the site itself refuses datacentre addresses, so there is no lobby capture either.
The Canadian App Store listing puts the catalogue at 3,000+ casino games including live tables and exclusive titles, which tells you the size of the shelf but nothing about who stocked it. Two Entain brands in the same province, the same platform underneath, and only one of them documents what it runs.
Payment Methods
The Ontario help centre carries ten entries in its payment menu – AMEX, Apple Pay, Cards, Interac e-transfer, paywithmybank, Bank Wire Transfer, Bank Transfer, Mastercard, paysafecard and Visa – a wider list than the generic help centre publishes. American Express is the standout. Only a handful of Ontario books take it – Betano is one – and Sports Interaction gives it a dedicated help article rather than a line in a list.
That AMEX article is more useful than most, because it explains the failures rather than the feature. Cards get declined, Sports Interaction says, when you have exceeded your credit limit, when the name, address or telephone number you entered does not match your card company’s records, when the CVV2 is wrong, or – the one nobody expects – when your issuing bank simply does not authorise internet gaming transactions. There is also a published list of card ranges excluded from AMEX deposits.
Online Banking, listed in the cashier as paywithmybank, is the other option worth knowing: you pay straight from your bank account with no card involved, authenticating inside your own bank’s portal and getting an email confirmation afterwards.
Interac e-Transfer, Step by Step
Interac is the route most Ontario players will use, and it is free in both directions – Sports Interaction charges no fees on Interac deposits or withdrawals.
Deposits arrive instantly, or within 15 minutes depending on your bank. Autodeposit is supported, with the operator publishing setup instructions for specific institutions:

In the operator’s words: “All withdrawals are first approved by our internal review team, which will take up to two business days. Once we have processed your withdrawal, it will take 1-3 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account.”
Business days exclude weekends. Request a payout on a Friday afternoon and, in the worst case, the money lands the following Friday.
Two comparisons put that in context. bet365 publishes 1 to 4 hours for an Interac withdrawal. Betano commits to processing within 24 hours and names the banks that then settle in minutes. Sports Interaction’s own documentation puts it in a different league entirely – and it is worth noting that plenty of affiliate sites still describe its Interac payouts as taking “under an hour”. They are not quoting the Ontario help centre.
The one redeeming detail: the process itself is transparent. You are told by email and SMS when the transfer is approved, and you accept it inside your own bank’s portal – so you always know which stage you are at.

The iOS rating is respectable and the release cadence is healthy – the build we checked was eight days old. Two things are not.
The app requires iOS 18 or later. That is the steepest hardware requirement of any Ontario betting app we have measured: bet365’s sportsbook app runs on iOS 15, Betano’s on iOS 15. If your iPhone is a few years old and stuck on iOS 16 or 17, you cannot install this app at all. At 122.7 MB it is also nearly three times the size of bet365’s.
And the publisher is a third name again. The App Store lists Avid Ecom Solutions Limited – not ElectraWorks Maple Limited, which holds the Ontario licence, and not Entain Operations Canada Limited, which handles the money. All three sit inside the Entain group, but a player checking who they are installing software from will not find that explained anywhere in the listing.
Geolocation: Why You Might Be Blocked Inside Ontario
Sports Interaction devotes an entire help section to geolocation, and it is the most practically useful part of the Ontario library.
You can open an account from anywhere, but you cannot place a bet unless you are physically inside a legal province. Location is confirmed by provincial boundary checks plus geolocation software, and the operator names it: GeoComply.
The published troubleshooting list is worth reading before you need it:
- Use the website rather than the app, or install the GeoComply desktop app and repeat the check.
- Turn off any VPN, Citrix session, remote desktop or screen-sharing software. Sports Interaction states plainly that these will get you blocked.
- Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data – a Wi-Fi connection can attach you to a distant wireless signal.
- Disable nearby Wi-Fi and USB adapters that can confuse the location fix.
Two scenarios in that documentation catch real players out. Using your phone as a hotspot can place you outside Ontario, and so can connecting remotely to a computer elsewhere – you will be located where the other machine is, not where you are.

Final Verdict
Sports Interaction is the most legally transparent operator we have reviewed in Ontario, and one of the slowest to pay.
The good part is real. The licence number is printed where you can check it, the terms carry an amendment date, and there is a genuine Ontario help centre rather than a global one with a maple leaf on it. The cashier is broad – ten routes including American Express and direct Online Banking – and Interac costs nothing in either direction. The geolocation documentation is the most useful in this market.
The problem is the payout. Up to two business days for internal approval, then one to three more for the money to land – five business days in the worst case, against one to four hours at bet365. That is the operator’s own published figure, not an estimate, and it is the single reason to think twice.

Overall we place Sports Interaction at 4.0 out of 5 for Ontario bettors.

Alternatives to Sports Interaction
If the five-day payout window is the dealbreaker, two AGCO-registered books are markedly faster. bet365 publishes Interac withdrawals at 1 to 4 hours and Apple Pay payouts as instant, though it publishes no licence number and offers no phone support. Betano commits to processing within 24 hours and goes further than anyone else by naming the Canadian banks that then settle in minutes – and, like Sports Interaction, it takes American Express. On support specifically, two operators do publish channels for Ontario: BetMGM lists a telephone number, an email address and live chat, and BetRivers publishes a phone line plus a two-hour email response target. FanDuel and DraftKings, like Sports Interaction, publish no direct line at all.
One alternative is closer to home than any of those.
