Swiper Ontario Review 2026: A Casino First, a Sportsbook Second

How We Checked Swiper

This review is built on primary sources only. We read Swiper’s own Ontario pages – the casino menu counters, the provider directory, the promotions page, the help centre, the terms and the Canadian App Store listing – and we counted what the site publishes instead of repeating what it claims.

• We confirmed the operator, the brand and the categories in the iGaming Ontario directory, checked 7 September 2026.
• We added up the per-studio game counts Swiper publishes on its own provider page, one by one, and compared the total against the lobby counter.
• Every deposit method, withdrawal window, fee and verification rule comes from Swiper’s help centre, which is open without an account.
• We read all eleven published promotions in full, including wagering multipliers, expiry windows and maximum bet caps.
• We pulled the app version, size, minimum iOS and rating from Apple’s Canadian App Store listing.

Is Swiper Legal in Ontario?

Yes. Swiper is run by Canadix Limited, the same company behind Betinia and ToonieBet, under AGCO registration OPIG1456605, with an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, and it is listed in the public register under both the casino and the sports betting categories.

Canadix Limited is a Maltese company, registered at Quad Central, Q3 Level 3, Triq l-Esportaturi, Birkirkara. What the AGCO regulates is the Ontario-facing operation, not where the parent company is incorporated.

Two consequences follow. Your balance is in Canadian dollars, and you must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario to place a bet. Swiper’s own terms say it in those words: “You must be 19+ years old and physically located in Ontario to wager.”

There is one thing here that Swiper should fix. The footer of every page reads “Swiper only accepts customers over 18 years of age”, and the Canadian App Store lists the app with an 18+ age rating. Ontario’s legal minimum is 19, which is the number the terms use and the number printed on all eleven promotions. The binding age is 19 – the footer and the store listing are simply carrying text written for another market.

Swiper Sports Betting

The sportsbook is the smaller half of Swiper. It has live betting, a bet builder, cash out and an early payout offer, but no live streaming at all – and Swiper says so itself, in the help centre, in one flat sentence.

Swiper does not publish a sport-by-sport count anywhere on its public pages. Its own copy claims “over 30 different sports” and “10,000+ different sporting events per year”, and the sports rail names basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, baseball and table tennis. Those are the operator’s numbers, not ours.

What the Sportsbook Does and Does Not Do

Everything in the first block is standard equipment on an Ontario book in 2026. The two gaps at the bottom are what separate Swiper from the bigger names: you cannot watch what you are betting on, and you cannot check how deep a game is priced before you sign up.

The Minimum Bet Is 15 Cents

Swiper’s floor is 0.15 CAD per bet, published in the help centre. Drop below it and the slip refuses the stake with an error.

That is a genuinely low floor, and it matters more than it sounds. A 15-cent minimum means a ten-leg parlay costs you a dollar and a half to try, so you can learn how the bet builder prices a game without putting real money at risk. Books that start at $1 or $2 do not let you do that.

The bet types Swiper names are the ordinary ones: 1X2, over/under and player props, available on singles and on multiples.

Cash Out Works Best When You Need It Least

Swiper is unusually blunt about how its cash out decides. The help centre says: “if the chances of winning are high, the Cashout will be available, but if the chances of winning are relatively low, the Cashout function may not be available.”

Read that twice, because it is the honest version of something most books leave vague. Cash out is an offer, not a right, and it thins out exactly when your bet is going badly – which is the moment most people reach for it. We would rather have that written down than discover it on a Sunday afternoon.

The 2 Goals Ahead promotion softens the same edge from the other side: a pre-match 1X2 bet – single, multiple, system or Bet Builder – pays out early once your team leads by two, and stays paid even if the game turns. Bets already cashed out are excluded.

Swiper Casino

The casino is the real product here. The lobby menu counts 5,439 games, of which 4,018 are slots – a catalogue in the same class as the biggest casino-first brands on the Ontario register.

What the Lobby Holds

Counts read from Swiper’s own casino menu on 7 September 2026. The shape is worth noticing: 74% of the lobby is slots, and the table games section – 56 titles – is one of the smallest parts of a very large catalogue.

We Added Up the Studios, and the Site Contradicts Itself

Swiper publishes a game count next to every studio on its provider page, which is rare and which let us do something better than trust the headline number: we added them up.

The studios listed carry 5,445 games between them. The lobby counter says 5,439. Six games apart – close enough to conclude that both counters are real and that a handful of titles are double-listed across studios.

What is not close is the sales copy. The slots page tells you the lobby “contains more than 3,000 titles from over 30 providers”, twice – once in the description and once in its own FAQ. The menu on the same site counts 4,018 slots, and we counted 83 studios on the provider page. The description is roughly a thousand slots and fifty studios out of date.

That is not a scandal, it is a new brand that has grown faster than its copywriter. But it tells you something useful about how much of Swiper’s own text to take at face value: check the counter, not the paragraph.

The Ten Studios That Carry the Lobby

Ten studios out of 83 supply 2,820 games – 51.8% of the whole lobby. The long tail is genuinely long: thirteen studios contribute five games or fewer, and one contributes a single title. If you play mainly Pragmatic and Play’n GO slots, Swiper is deep. If you came for one small studio, check it is there before you deposit.

Live Dealer Games

Live dealer is where Swiper spends its money. Evolution (177), Pragmatic Live (211), Ezugi (53) and OnAir (40) put 481 live titles into the lobby between them, and the menu counts 288 live blackjack tables and 113 live roulette tables on their own.

Nearly three hundred blackjack tables is more than any player needs, and that is the point: at that size you will find an open seat at a stake you like at three in the morning, which is the only thing table counts really buy you.

Software Providers

What Swiper Publishes About Its Own Terms

Ontario’s Registrar’s Standards prohibit us from setting out an operator’s inducements, so this review does not list them. What we can tell you is how well the operator documents itself, which is a fair proxy for how it will treat you.

Swiper attaches full conditions to every offer it runs, on the same page and in the same line as the headline – wagering requirement, time window, minimum deposit and maximum conversion, all stated up front.

That is better disclosure than most of the Ontario register manages. Several books we have reviewed publish a headline and bury the conditions in a separate rules page, or omit the wagering requirement entirely.

If you want the detail, it is on the operator’s own promotions page, where the law allows it to be published. Read the wagering requirement and the time window before anything else: those two numbers decide what an offer is actually worth.

Payment Methods

Swiper’s cashier is short and Canadian at the top. The published minimum deposit is $10 across methods, which is the standard Ontario floor and half of what several rivals ask.

Deposit methods are the seven Swiper names in its help centre: Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap and MuchBetter. Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher and cannot receive money back, which is why Swiper warns that “not all deposit options are also available” for withdrawals – check yours before you fund the account.

Card Deposits Carry a Fee, and It Is Not Swiper’s

Swiper answers this one directly: “Yes, there is a fee for depositing using a Visa or Mastercard. This fee is imposed and collected by the credit card’s bank and not Swiper.”

That is worth knowing before you assume a card deposit is free. Canadian issuers routinely treat gambling deposits as cash advances, which means a flat fee plus interest from day one, with no grace period. Interac avoids the problem entirely, and it is the method we would use here.

Withdrawals and How Long They Take

A withdrawal request is processed within three business days, Monday to Friday, from the day you request it. After approval, the money moves at the speed of the method, and Swiper flags that bank transfers can take another 3 to 5 business days to land.

Put those together and a bank transfer requested on a Friday can reasonably take a week and a half to arrive. That is slow for 2026, and it is the clearest weakness in an otherwise tidy cashier. Two rules soften nothing but are worth knowing: you may cancel a withdrawal while it is still pending, and you may only withdraw to an account in your own name.

Verification Before Your First Withdrawal

Swiper verifies once, up front, and states a turnaround: 24 to 48 hours from the moment it has every document in full. The list it publishes is the usual four:

1. A valid photo ID, legible and not expired.
2. Proof of address issued in the last 3 to 6 months, depending on the review.
3. Proof that you own the payment method.
4. Transaction history – bank, e-wallet or card statements covering the last 1 to 3 months.

Upload all four the day you register rather than the day you win. The 24-to-48-hour clock only starts when the file is complete, and it runs in series with the three-day payout window, not in parallel with it.

The Swiper App

Swiper ships a real app on both stores, and the iOS listing is the honest place to start: 1.9 out of 5 from 17 ratings on the Canadian App Store, version 1.1.1, released 25 August 2026, 164.7 MB, requiring iOS 15 or later, published by CANADIX LIMITED and filed under Casino.

Two ratings and a star average are not a verdict – seventeen reviews is a tiny sample for a brand that launched this year, and early ratings on gambling apps skew angry. But 164.7 MB is a heavy download for what is largely a wrapper around the site, and the store listing carries an 18+ age rating in a 19+ province. Both are fixable, and neither has been fixed yet.

An Android build exists under the package com.canadix.swiper, and the site offers both stores behind a QR code on its app page.

The Withdrawal Ceiling Nobody Publishes

Swiper runs a five-level loyalty programme, and we raise it here for one reason only: the tier descriptions mention higher withdrawal limits from level 3 upwards.

That matters because Swiper publishes no baseline withdrawal ceiling anywhere on its public pages. If a higher limit is a benefit of climbing, there is a standard limit underneath it – and you cannot find out what it is before you register.

Ask support what the standard daily and monthly withdrawal ceilings are before you deposit. It is the one number this site does not let you check in advance.

The pattern across the register is that ceilings get published where payouts are narrow and omitted where they are wide. ToonieBet, on the same licence holder, publishes both its ceiling and a 72-business-hour processing window.

Customer Support

Swiper is one of the few Ontario brands that publishes a phone number as well as a chat window, and it publishes both prominently.

A published toll-free line is not the norm on this register. Of the 29 Ontario books we have reviewed, nine publish a phone number and the rest answer by chat and email only. The help centre is better than most too: it is public, it answers in specifics, and it puts numbers like the $0.15 minimum bet in writing.

It is also visibly unfinished. One article is titled “What deposit options does website have?” and sits at a URL ending does-brand-have. Those are template placeholders that were never filled in with the brand name. Harmless, but it is the tell of a site assembled quickly on a white-label platform.

Security and Reputation

The verifiable facts are good, and there are not many of them yet – which is what you would expect from a brand in its first year.

• Registered with the AGCO as OPIG1456605 and listed in the iGaming Ontario public register in both categories.
• Operated by Canadix Limited, a named Maltese company with a published registered address.
• Carries the BetGuard seal and links ConnexOntario on every page.
• Deposit-method ownership is verified before the first withdrawal, and payouts only go to an account in your own name.

Against that, three things are missing. Swiper does not name an integrity monitor for its sportsbook. It publishes no withdrawal ceiling. And the age statement in its own footer is wrong for the province it is licensed in. None of the three is a reason to avoid a registered operator, but all three are things a mature brand has already tidied up.

Final Verdict

Swiper is a casino with a sportsbook attached, and it should be judged as one. The 5,439-game lobby is the real product, the live dealer floor is genuinely large, and the disclosure on its own terms pages is better than most of the register. The sportsbook is competent and cheap to try at fifteen cents a bet, but it has no streaming and publishes nothing about how deeply it prices a game.

What we liked most was something small: the provider page with a count next to every studio. It let us check the operator’s own claim and find it a thousand slots out of date – and a site that gives you the means to audit it is, on balance, a site being straight with you.

What we would fix first: the footer that says 18 in a 19+ province, the sales copy that undersells the lobby by a third, and a withdrawal path that can take a week and a half to reach a bank account.

Who it suits: slot and live dealer players who want a very large lobby, a $10 Interac deposit and a fifteen-cent minimum bet. Who it does not: anyone who bets on sport with the stream on, anyone who needs money back inside 48 hours, and anyone who wants to see how deep a book prices a game before signing up.

Alternatives to Swiper

If the missing stream is what stops you, bet365 is the obvious swap: it is registered in the same categories, streams thousands of events a year to funded accounts, and prices far more markets per game – though its casino lobby is smaller. If it is the casino you came for and you want a brand with a longer Ontario record behind the same kind of catalogue, LeoVegas Ontario is the closest match on lobby size and is built mobile-first, which is where Swiper’s 1.9-star app is weakest. Across the three Canadix books the cashier is the clearest divider.
