New Ontario Sportsbooks (2026): The 9 Newest Betting Sites, Dated

Of the new Ontario sportsbooks, the newest are Hard Rock Bet and Betinia, which both entered the iGaming Ontario directory between 21 July and 11 August 2026, followed by DAZN Bet (July 2026) and BetNova (April 2026). Nine sportsbook brands have arrived since September 2023 and are still listed.
Ontario’s directory of licensed sites does not say when anyone arrived, so we dated every brand ourselves from 134 archived copies of the directory going back to April 2022. On 23 October 2026 we re-read the directory – still 34 sportsbooks, and no new arrival since August – and priced the new brands against the established ones on that night’s NHL games. For the whole field, start at our comparison of all Ontario sportsbooks.
New Ontario Sportsbooks: What We Found
- No new sportsbook since August. The directory still lists 34 sites under Sports Betting on 23 October 2026; the last arrivals, Hard Rock Bet and Betinia, came between 21 July and 11 August.
- Ontario gained four sportsbook brands in 2026 and lost four. Rivalry left in March, Betsafe and PokerStars Sports in April, and Maverick Games stopped taking bets on 16 October – a net change of zero.
- New does not mean cheaper. On 23 October Betinia, DAZN Bet and ToonieBet kept 4.3% on the NHL money line – mid-market – while BetNova (8.1%), Titan Play (7.7%) and Swiper (6.1%) were among the most expensive books in the province.
- The best-rated new app is Hard Rock Bet’s, at 4.73 on the App Store – but from only 503 ratings.
