Is NorthStar Bets legal in Ontario?

Yes. NorthStar Bets is operated by NorthStar Gaming (Ontario) Inc. under AGCO registration OPIG1226485, with an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. The number is published in the footer of every page. You must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario, which is verified by GeoComply.

What is the minimum deposit at NorthStar Bets?

$20 per transaction. That is double the $10 most Ontario books ask for. The withdrawal minimum is also $20, so a smaller balance is stranded until you top it up or bet it. NorthStar charges no fees on either side.

What is the NorthStar Bets withdrawal time?

NorthStar Bets usually approves a withdrawal within a few hours, and within 24 hours at most; additional safety checks can add up to 72 hours, and amounts over $10,000 may take longer. Interac e-Transfer is the fastest method in practice. Payouts go by Interac, Visa or PayPal, with no fees; the help centre also names Instadebit, which closed in April 2026.

Why can I not withdraw to my Mastercard?

Because Mastercard does not accept casino withdrawals. You can deposit with it, but you cannot be paid out to it.

Does NorthStar Bets have a phone number?

Yes, and it is the operator's clearest advantage. Support is on +1 (855) 218-7827, toll free, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Email goes to support@northstarbets.ca, and live chat is available once you are logged in.

What happens to my account if I stop playing?

It goes inactive after 12 consecutive months without a deposit, withdrawal or bet, and dormant after a further 24 months. At that point NorthStar deactivates it and returns the balance to your last payment method.

Are NorthStar Bets odds better than PROLINE+?

On our test, yes. Both run on Kambi and carried the same 177 markets on the Leafs game on 8 October 2026, but NorthStar had the better price on all six main lines we compared across two NHL games - 3.3-3.4% margin on the moneyline against 4.1-4.3% at PROLINE+.

What casino games does NorthStar Bets have?

A Playtech-based casino whose lobby prints a game count on every shelf. In October 2026 the largest shelves were Vegas Vibes (232), Retro Reels (167) and Jade Lounge (164), and Live Casino held 115 live tables on Playtech Live, including the operator's own NorthStar Elite Blackjack.

Are NorthStar Bets odds good?

Yes - on the NHL they are among the best in Ontario. Over ten games read on 8, 19 and 21 October 2026 NorthStar Bets kept 3.1% on the moneyline, second of 14 books behind Pinnacle, and it was second in every one of the three readings. Across moneyline, puck line and total on 21 October it kept 3.8%, again second of 12.
