Is PROLINE+ legal in Ontario?

Yes. PROLINE+ is run by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, a provincial Crown agency, and OLG.ca is regulated by the AGCO. You must be 19 or older, live in Ontario and be in the province when you bet online.

What is the difference between PROLINE and PROLINE+?

PROLINE+ is the online sportsbook, for 19+, with stakes from $0.10 to $50,000 and live betting. PROLINE is the in-store version at lottery retailers, for 18+, with stakes from $1 to $100 and no account. On the NHL game we priced, in-store margins were about twice the online ones.

How do I withdraw from PROLINE+?

Only by electronic funds transfer to a Canadian bank account you have registered and verified. The minimum is $2 and there is no maximum per withdrawal, but you can make one successful request a day, and OLG says payouts take one to five business days to arrive.

What payment methods does PROLINE+ accept?

Deposits by Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, American Express, Interac e-Transfer and Apple Pay, from $15. Cards must be issued by a Canadian bank. Withdrawals go only to a verified bank account.

Are PROLINE+ odds competitive?

Online, yes. On Colorado at Winnipeg on 7 October 2026 we measured a 3.8% margin on the money line and just over 5% on the total and puck line. The same game at the in-store PROLINE counter carried margins of 9% to 10%.

Does BetGuard cover PROLINE+?

Yes. BetGuard, iGaming Ontario's province-wide self-exclusion tool, covers OLG.ca as well as every private sportsbook and casino in Ontario. OLG also runs its own My PlayBreak program, from one day to five years.

Is my PROLINE+ account the same as my OLG lottery account?

Yes. PROLINE+ uses your OLG.ca account, which also covers online lottery and OLG's online casino, and you can only hold one. Money you deposit can be spent across all of them, so set your deposit, loss and spend limits for the whole account.

When did PROLINE+ launch?

On 27 August 2021, the day single-game sports betting became legal in Canada. In-store PROLINE was relaunched with single-game bets in 2022, and in January 2026 OLG moved both products onto Kambi's platform and launched the dedicated PROLINE app.
